Step aside indigo lovers, today’s Fade of the Day is all about the duck. Brown cotton duck, that is. This pair of Carhartt B01 work pants were worn for some actual hard work by Heddels reader and soon-to-be professional bricklayer Kevin Dent of Toronto, Canada.
Kevin is currently apprenticing as a bricklayer and has worn these B01’s just about every day on the job for the last five months, time spent constantly moving and bending over, marking bricks, stones, and sills.These double-front work pants are showing their wear beautifully, especially on the right knee from kneeling on the ground. Fade-wise, these pants are developing just like jeans, with defined whiskers and thigh fades, as well as some awesome honeycombs behind the knees and stacks around the ankles.
If they look this good during their apprenticeship, imagine what the future holds for these Carhartts.
