If the average Joe were to ever overhear you talking about wearing your favorite Nudies all the time, he would probably assume you enjoyed galavanting around in your birthday suit. But since you’re reading our Fade of the Day, you know better than that.
This pair of Grim Tim’s were worn for the last eight months by Heddels reader Rinke Hendriksen, of the Netherlands, for daily activities including cycling, class, skateboarding, and long walks. In all of this wear his jeans lightened up several shades and now shine a bright shade of blue while showing some near-white in the seat and knees.
With lots of wear comes the inevitable damage, however, and one day, as he wore his jeans to a local shop, he was surprised when the owner wouldn’t let him leave without letting them be repaired. This shop was De Rode Winkel in Utrecht, and having no other jeans on him to wear, they let Rinke leave in a pair of original 1960’s Levi’s while they went to work repairing the crotch. One hour later, Rinke’s Nudies were good as new, and he got a pretty cool story out of it too.
