Today’s Fade of the Day is of the limited edition kind, from one of our favorite jeans makers, Tellason. This pair of Cone Mills Natural Indigo Ladbroke Groves belongs to Galen Shearn-Nance, who’s rocked them hard for the last year and a half with plenty to show for it.
Natural indigo starts out as a brilliant bright blue color, but it still fades just as hard as the rest of the indigo-dyed jeans we all know and love. The differences are evident in the lighter cast that these Ladbrokes have taken on over time, though they still retain plenty of sought-after contrast and personalized wear marks. We’re seeing some awesome whiskers up front, and plenty of solid fading throughout the waist, thighs, legs, and seat, as well as some awesome honeycombs and even a cellphone fade in the front pocket.
The crotch has been repaired twice so far, if that gives you any idea as to how hard they are being worn, but they’re nowhere near ready for retirement yet.
