Golden Bear is out to help you stay as warm as its namesake with their latest collaborative efforts with Unionmade–the classically inspired Aviator Bomber jacket. Pairing up a timeless silhouette with some modern amenities isn’t necessarily a reinvention of the wheel, but when it’s done right, there’s no denying the appeal of rocking a badass bomber jacket when the leaves start to fall.

Inspired by the B-10 flight jackets worn in WWII by USAAF pilots, the Aviator Bomber features a sturdy Italian nylon outer and a removable pointed collar made with mouton wool. Two hidden-snap waist flap pockets give you places to store your spare hand warmers and hot chocolate packets, and the sleeves and bottom of the jacket are finished with an engineered ribbed cuff. It’s a little early in the season yet, but that works out just fine in this case, as it’s up for pre-order and will take a few weeks for delivery.
