Real Japan Blues x Rivet & Hide RFR-004 Left Hand Twill Jeans

If you regretfully decided against purchasing the first collaboration denim from Real Japan Blues and Rivet & Hide just because you can’t get down with the skinny fit, we’ve got some good news:  the two companies are back in the saddle again. Their latest pair, the RFR-004 Left Hand Twill Jeans, are cut with some extra space where you may need it the most, because denim heads come in all shapes and sizes.

The RF-002 turned out to be one of Rivet & Hide’s most popular collaborations, and for good reason. They used a mid-weight 14oz. unsanforized Zimbabwe cotton, Japanese rope-dyed denim with a left hand twill weave, a fabric that’s has yielded some amazing fades in recent years due to its rich indigo tone and varying texture.

This fit features some added room in the top block and thighs, while still tapering below the knees for some more contour. The front and back pockets are reinforced with double stitched polycotton, and the back pockets contain some indigo-dyed arcs that will only show their faces when the fading begins. Iron buttons and copper rivets throughout means these babies will take a licking and keep on ticking, which is good, because once you wear them you probably won’t want to take them off.

Available for $365 at Rivet & Hide.
