In a market packed full of premium goods and price tags to match, brands like Sage work hard behind the scenes to keep it as real as possible at a price that won’t break the bank. Their latest release, the Rover 14oz. Indigo x Black Jeans, may not be cut from selvedge denim, but there’s no denying the insane value and limitless fade potentials that are all part of the package.

Like the name implies, this 14oz. sanforized denim features many of the same characteristics that we often find on high-end denim, including a ring spun right hand twill weave and rope dyed indigo warp and black weft. Pair that with navy blue stealth stitching, and you’ve got one dark and saturated pair of jeans that are ripe for the fading. Sage cut these jeans in a slim tapered fit, and some other notable features include branded copper rivets, signature pattern black buttons, and an inked and embossed cowhide patch. Sounds better than department store jeans to me.
