The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and juicy updates. The yokes and flap pockets — two classic western shirt hallmarks — are ingeniously stitched in the form of Samurai’s arcuates, using single-needle stitching and contrasting lemon-yellow thread. And with the exception of the wooden top button, custom ‘Blade Star’ snap buttons feature throughout.
Samurai usually goes super-heavy with their fabrics, but this time, they opted for a mid-weight 10.5oz. raw denim, complete with their signature silver ‘sword’ selvedge ID that’s exposed at the cuffs and gusset.
