Dawson Denim Reveals Their Neppy Wide Leg Denim Chinos

Dawson Denim is like that girl I have a crush on, but have yet to approach in real life. I follow their insta closely, but like, not in a creepy way. So, needless to say, I was well aware of this new and exciting release from the British brand.

Dawson’s newest offering is their Wide Leg Denim Chinos, which is a variation on their earlier wide leg chinos, inspired by the US Air Force uniforms of WWII. This time around, however, they’re are offered in a 10oz. neppy 2×1 denim, similar to the denim worn by Navy men in the same era. The chinos fit high on the waist and wide in the leg, and come with fully felled inseams and outseams made on a Union Special 35800. And that gorgeous neppy denim is made in Okayama, on classic looms first developed in the 1920s. Maybe it’s my denim-crush talking, but Dawson’s historical accuracy and attention to detail really set them apart.

So don’t be a chicken like me—make the first move and hit up Dawson Denim. They’ll make some beautiful pants just for you.

Available for £220 at Dawson Denim.
