Sometimes, achieving great fades can feel like an uphill battle, and that was exactly the case for Heddels reader Lars Esmarch with these Japan Blue JB0401’s. Riding his bike uphill on a daily commute certainly helped his wear marks develop, especially at just five months in.
In addition to wearing them on the bike and in the workplace, Lars confesses that he pretty much wears his jeans any other time he gets the chance. Yard work around the house and playing with his young daughter have contributed nicely to the look of these JB’s, which are shining a brilliant blue hue now. Aside from lightening up all over, there are some nice early onset whiskers and honeycombs that are already showing signs of greatness.
There’s been no need for repairs just yet, but there’s plenty of time for that down the line.
