If you are traveling abroad, it can be very helpful to have a passport wallet. It will keep your passport safe and sound, and what’s more the large size will give more room for those oversized foreign bills. The wallets contained in this list come in all shapes and sizes, so it’s important to know exactly what you’ll be bringing on your trip before purchasing one. That said, you’ll surely being able to find one that will adequately carry everything you need it to.
1) Tanner Goods: Travel Wallet in Safari Olive
Tanner Goods’ Travel Wallet is the perfect passport wallet for those of us who know we aren’t going to travel light. Its tall profile allows folded bills and plane tickets to held securely, and the remaining large pockets in this wallet are designed to fit a passport and small notepad. It also contains several card slots for all your ID and credit card needs. This model is made from a 3.5oz. English bridle leather in Safari Olive, but is available in many other materials as well.

2) Billy Kirk: No. 153 Passport Wallet in Natural
Billykirk’s No. 153 Wallet isn’t the largest passport wallet on the market, but it definitely has enough room for all your necessities. I don’t know about you, but I know that when I’m traveling abroad I don’t take all my important cards, but rather only the ones I intend to use (and perhaps one extra for emergencies). That said, this wallet does have sufficient room for your passport, bills, tickets, and any other important pieces of paperwork you pick-up when you’re out of country.

3) Voyej: Passport Wallet III in Black
Voyej is an Indonesian company known for producing some of the most substantial, yet affordable, wallets on the market. Their Passport Wallet III is spacious, featuring four card slots, two bill slots, a passport slot, and an additional oversized pocket for a notebook, ticket, or other oversized item. It features a flapped, concho-snap closure, which even has a pen holder built in. While perhaps a bit overkill for many of us, this wallet is perfect for those who travel abroad often or just want to take it all with them.

4) Makr: Passport Wallet in Oxblood
This Passport Wallet from Makr is about as minimalist as they come, but it will still keep your passport, bills, and credit cards safe and well protected. It made using Horween’s Horsefront Chromexcel leather, a soft leather that is remarkable durable given its thinness, and is handsewn in the USA. It comes in a range of different hued including this underutilized used Oxblood color.

5) Common Projects: Passport Folio in Black
A lot of people tend to go to small-time craftspeople for their leather goods, but that doesn’t mean that Common Projects‘ Passport Folio should be overlooked. It’s an amply sized passport wallet with three card slots, a passport slot, and an additional large pocket whatever else you have with you. The exterior is made from a hatch grain embossed black leather while the interior features a smooth, tan leather for contrast.

Plus One – Bellroy Passport Sleeve in Tan
While a large number of designs exists for passport wallets, Bellroy’s Passport Sleeve is perhaps the most unique. It doesn’t fold open, bur rather allows the passport to be slipped into a large central slit. One side features a large slot for oversized paper items while the other sports two card pockets. The top has a small slot for the included travel pen, and the whole wallet is backed with Bellroy’s generous three year warranty.
