Sage The 5th Chieftain 19oz. Unsanforized Deep Indigo Jeans

It’s been five years since Indonesian brand, Sage, made their first appearance on the denim scene. And there’s no better way to celebrate a half decade of insane fades than with another pair of heavyweight, Indonesian-made jeans, complete with all the hallmarks that helped put Sage on the map in the first place.

Named The 5th Chieftain, these jeans are made from an exclusive, 19oz. unsanforized deep-indigo denim, with a bold red selvedge ID. Milled and rope-dyed in the brand’s homeland of Indonesia, it’s hefty fabrics like this that’ve regularly found their way onto our daily fade features.

Coming in two cuts—slim and slim straight—Sage constructed these jeans with gold-threaded single-felled inseams, a shell-stitched fly, and hidden rivets on the rear pockets. Speaking of rear pockets, both feature stealth and hidden mountain arcs, ready to become more visible as the denim fades.

Each pair comes finished with branded hardware, screen-printed twill pocket bags, and a 5mm vegetable-tanned cowhide waist patch, inked and embossed with special edition anniversary graphics.

Available from Sage for just $120 (!).
