Snake Oil Provisions Rattles Up a Scaly Boot with Lucchese

Forget having a snake in your boot. Snake Oil Provisions has teamed up with longtime luxury bootmakers, Lucchese, to make sure the snake is your boot. Originally a custom order for SOP founder, Ben Neuhaus, the boot turned out so handsome that the Long Beach menswear purveyors felt they had to give their customers a chance to wet their beak in the snakeskin madness.

Each pair is handmade in El Paso, Texas, from the SOP-exclusive ‘Jonah’ silhouette — a slim model with solid brass inside zipper-closures and a heeled sole. The upper is made from hand-cut, U.S. Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake skin, which is lined with full calf leather and sat upon an espresso-stained leather sole.

This collaboration has been in the pipeline since last January and it’s finally slithered its way onto the scene, available exclusively from Snake Oil Provisions on a made-to-order basis, for a deposit of $1100 (full retail $2200).
