The Real McCoy’s Mixes Actual Deadstock for Their Repro MA-1 Jacket

If you’re a detail-oriented person who cares about the history of things, then you must already be knee-deep in The Real McCoy’s incredibly high-quality reproductions… so why not pick up one more?

Their latest is an exacting reproduction of the famous MA-1 jacket, which first appeared on the scene in the 1950s and became the official flight jacket of both the Navy and Air Force shortly after. The Real McCoys really went the extra mile with this jacket by bringing a nylon that exactly matches the color and characteristics of the original jackets. It even comes outfitted with military patches authentic to the period and features a deadstock Talon zipper, which is pretty darn cool.

Made in Japan by the some of the most meticulous craftsmen in the world, give this new jacket a spin for some serious “we lost badly in Vietnam and Korea, but looked good while doing it” vibes.

Available for $926 from The Real McCoy’s.
