Blackhorse Lane Ateliers Latest Denim is Selvedge, Neppy, Also a Tunic

Perhaps your latest painting isn’t coming along exactly as you’d like. Your studio is inspiring, your model is unclothed and ready to be painted, but something is missing. Perhaps what you, the struggling artist, need is a raw denim tunic!

Designed and made by Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, the N1C Indigo Selvedge Tunic is inspired by the artists and designers studying at Central Saint Martins. Cut loose, the garment is meant to allow freedom of movement for creative types as they do their work. And the tunic is made from a neppy 10.5oz. orange-line selvedge denim from Isko Mills in Turkey.

A neck strap and side flap should make the garment easy to get on and off, but you may not want to, as I’m sure the wear and tear and occasional paint splatter will just make this garment all the more perfect for daily wear outside the studio. So get inspired. Get a darn tunic!

Available for £200 from Blackhorse Lane Atelier.
