Get ready for some fade envy, because it’s time for Fade of the Day. For today’s dose of dye-loss, we’ve got a stunning pair of Momotaro x Japan Blue 0700SP jeans, coming to us courtesy of Taufiq Ismail of Indonesia.
These jeans have been Taufiq’s daily beaters for a little less than four years. From motorcycle riding to ascending volcanoes, you name it, these Momos have been there! With the dye-loss we’re seeing here, you’d think Taufiq washed these jeans in a volcano, but he tells us they’ve just seen regular machine washes, regular rainfall, and an ocean-wash. Regardless, a beautiful vintage-blue cast has been achieved, with super-white thighs, some solid whiskers and honeycombs, and some train track fades to boot.
Taufiq tells us his jeans have seen multiple repairs to the knees, thighs, and crotch, but he didn’t say anything about retiring them just yet!
