Nobody’s perfect. For example, Josh Rosengren of Wisconsin misspelled his own first name in his fade submission form. Sometimes imperfections can be frustrating, but other times imperfections can be interesting.
Take Josh’s Red Wing 8166 boots for instance. Over the course of two years, he has totally thrashed these hard-working round-toe leather boots. But they’re hanging in there after two tough winters and a stint at Josh’s work, building the foundation for the new Bucks stadium.
He worked these boots so hard that he had to add Tuff Toe, a polyurethane adhesive, to keep them from falling apart, and now, the heel is torn. He hopes that the good people at Red Wing HQ can repair them, and so do we. The imperfections in his boots tell a story, and maybe—just maybe—there’s a little more life left in them.
