Fade of the Day – Tanner Goods Workman Wallet (9 Months)

When it comes to the Tanner Goods Workman Wallet, it always seems to live up to its name. Owned by Gregorio Mena of Texas, this leather wallet has seen its fair share of hard wear, and has the patina to prove it, making it today’s Fade of the Day.

Nine months of daily use—ranging from office work, yard work, and house renovation—has done a number on what was once a light-colored vegetable-tanned leather outer. Now, a rich shade of darker brown complete with marks and scratches earned on the day to day, this wallet is really breaking in nicely, while still holding onto some of its original color on the protected inner card slots.

And speaking of card slots, check out the heavy wear marks they transferred to the back side of the wallet! It’s like that saying about mullets: business up front and party in the back.
