It’s that time of the week, folks… Fade Friday! But before you check out for a leisurely weekend ahead, take a moment to check out this beastly pair of Naked & Famous Elephant 2’s, which come to us courtesy of Randy Saputra, from Indonesia.
It’s fades like these that denim heads hope for when buying 22 oz. denim, and considering Indonesia’s sweltering temperatures, it’s safe to say Randy has been rewarded for his endeavors. The thighs have worn down to a dirty white tone, with the seat and calves following suit, having also shed most of their indigo dye. And of course, with a heavy fabric, comes heavy contrast, and that shows in the stark whiskers in the lap, and the shredded, three-dimensional honeycombs which bind around to the knees.
Randy tells us these jeans have a seen a lot of motorcycle riding, which led to a case of crotch blowout that has since been repaired. But, to be frank, it’s hard to see how these N&F’s could get any better, and they wouldn’t look out of place on display in the Hall of Fades.
