Fade of the Day is back and this time we have a pair of Iron Heart 666SII’s for you! This particular pair comes to us from Helmi Putra Perdana, a denimhead from Indonesia, who tells us he’s carved out these fades in only eight months of effective wear.
Dubbed “The Devil’s Fit,” these Iron Hearts are a slim-fitting, 18 oz. number, which would have been a challenge to wear in the hot climes of Indonesia. Nevertheless, Helmi has powered through and earned himself some killer fades with a quickness.
After two washes, the denim has developed a deep blue cast, one that’s peppered with chalky white creases and dye-loss. The whiskers are stacked up and cascade down the inner thighs towards the knees, and the seat has worn down nicely with a solid pocket fade to match. And thanks to the heavyweight denim, the honeycombs are on a different level—stark, widespread, and binding around to the knees.
