Indigofera Offers Their Clint Jean in 18oz. Shiroyama Selvedge Denim

Japanese selvedge denim, five pockets, and solid craftsmanship — the foolproof recipe which always results in great things. A brand that knows this all too well is the Swedish denim masterminds, Indigofera, and they’re back with a tasty update of their popular ‘Clint’ jean.

This time around, the versatile straight-legged jean is constructed using 18oz. Japanese raw selvedge denim, from Shiroyama Mills. As well it’s beefy weight, the denim is milled with uneven warp and weft yarns and a low tension weave. This not only makes for a coarse, slubby texture — it makes the denim ripe for the fadin’. The fabric is finished with a red selvedge line, and will see minimal shrinkage thanks to sanforization.

These jeans closely follow the traditional five-pocket framework, but Indigofera’s attention to detail shines through with the inclusion of donut button fly-closures, lock stitched hems, custom leather waist patch, and branded woven pocket tab.

Available at Standard & Strange for $295.
