Railcar Spikes Goldline Nep “Shell-vedge” Jeans

Branching out in an already well-developed line of men’s and women’s quality clothing, Railcar Fine Goods recently announced the launch of their “Goldline” series that will explore styles and fabrics as well as construction methods made available to them through a cast collection of close to 80 working vintage and industrial sewing machines. With a strong focus on the minute details that can make a pair of jeans so special, introducing the Spikes “Goldline” Nep 001.

Cut from a neppy American 12.5oz. denim, the 001 may look ordinary from afar, but up close it’s true colors show. These jeans feature a unique “shell-vedge” line on the outseam that is pretty much exactly what it sounds like — outseams covered with shell stitching. It’s also got manual single needle belt loop tacking, hidden back pocket rivets, and a woven exterior waist tag. They are offering it in the popular Spikes slim tapered fit, and as always every jean purchase includes a complimentary chainstitched hem if needed. You might not grab the attention of an everyday passerby on the street, but to the discerning denimhead details like these are a sight to behold.

Available for pre-order for $280 at Railcar Fine Goods.
