Bonhomme Maps Out New Deadstock Territory with WWII-era ‘Escape’ China Scarves

If you’re a fan of sneaky accessories, you were probably quite taken at the military homage paid by Bonhomme with the release of their printed map scarves featured back in 2016. Luckily, they didn’t stop at just one and have recently released their latest Escape Scarves incase you ever find yourself in a remote region of China with no service. Though we hope that never happens to you.

If you aren’t familiar with the work of Bonhomme, you are probably wondering what’s so special about a map printed on some cloth. Attention to detail takes the cake here, and there sure is plenty of it on this piece. The map itself was originally produced in 1944 for the British Army and was found as dead stock, meaning though there may be several imperfections in the design you are literally wearing a piece of wartime history. It is printed with brilliant colors on a 63x96cm 100% rayon material that is soft and comfy while providing necessary wind protection. And who knows, it could save your life.

Available for $189 at Bonhomme.
