Wake up fade fiends, there’s a rooster a’calling. Today’s Fade Of The Day focuses on a pair of Naked & Famous Chinese New Year Fire Rooster’s, owned by Eli Palombo of Ashland, Oregon. Let’s dive in.
At the eight-month mark, this pair has softened up nicely and are broken in to a point where you can see the forming of all the creases, which will, given some time, fade to deeply contrasting whiskers and honeycombs. Those fades have already begun in some places, particularly the very nice honeycombs that’ll really start to pop as that indigo falls.
Adding additional character to the pair are all the accessory fades Eli has going on, which have been encouraged by keeping his Zippo in his watch pocket, leatherman in the left front pocket, phone in back right pocket, and Aegis handcraft Ellis card holder in the back left pocket. Great start Eli, and these are sure to be even better in another eight months’ time.
