It’s not always about the big label fades, especially when Uniqlo are in the cut! We’ve seen many pairs of beautifully faded jeans from the brand over the years, and for today’s edition of Fade of the Day, we’ve got one of the best yet coming to us from Anran Wu, a college student from China.
Anran is a proud metal-head, and tell’s us these jeans have seen many gigs, festivals, and mosh pits over the last two years. While the bands have shred their guitars, Anran has shredded his denim, which is now showing significant dye loss. Some areas of the jeans—such as the thighs—are damn near white, and the remaining indigo has developed a handsome, vintage-blue cast. In terms of creasing, some solid honeycombs have made their mark behind the knees, and the whiskers on the lap have come through so strong that one has forced a tear on the left leg!
By this point, it’s fair to say Anran is a true denim slayer, but with no repairs yet, he might just be rockin’ these Uniqlos until the bell tolls.
