(Heavy jeans + Time) x Humidity = Heavy Honeycombs + Fade Glory. There are exceptions to the rule, but that is not the case with this pair of Iron Heart IH-666N jeans, submitted to us by Alpharik Kurniawan from the land of fading pride, also known as Indonesia.
Alpharik has been wearing these jeans daily for fourteen months and washed them only once. A fairly short tenure for a pair of heavyweight Iron Hearts, to be sure, so there is still a lot of indigo left in these beasts. But that remaining indigo is just what makes Alpharik’s fades stand out. Crispy whiskers have piled up on the lap and the honeycombs are nothing short of stunning. If that’s not enough, Alpharik has even delivered some bonus hem and pocket fades for all you roping fanatics.
And if our previous Indonesian fade-submissions are anything to go by, Alpharik is not done with this equation just yet and we have a good sense we’ll be seeing these again in the not-so-distant future.
