Snake Oil Provisions Celebrates Four Years with Yak and Anaconda Skin

Snake Oil Provisions specializes in providing rough ‘n’ ready menswear out in Long Beach, California, so what better way to commemorate their fourth anniversary than with a grail leather jacket? Say no more, because they just dropped the Emperor Rider Jacket, made in cahoots with lavish-leather masters, Nine Lives.

This piece may cost more than your motorbike itself, but that’s because it’s built from luxurious Dutch Yak leather proprietary to Nine Lives, but that’s not all. In typical SOP fashion, the three interior pockets are finished with black Anaconda-skin trim! As for the construction, the Emperor Rider jacket is cut in a slim, modernized fit, which features an ever-so-slightly asymmetrical, two-way brass zipper closure. Motorbike-ready details include gusseted shoulders for ease of movement, elongated zippers to make space for your gloves, and a snap-down collar to reduce flapping while ridin’ in the wind.

Made in Japan by Nine Lives, this black beauty has been finished with a black microfibre lining, emblazoned with SOP scorpion branding and embroidered with gold thread.

Available exclusively at Snake Oil Provisions for $2150.

Edit: A previous version of this article stated that the leather was exclusive to Snake Oil Provisions, when it is, in fact, proprietary to Nine Lives and is used for other garments sold elsewhere.
