What’s blue and white and faded all over? These Mischief Denim SR-002’s, worn by Rudiansyah of Indonesia, which also happen to be this week’s Fade Friday! Despite the indigo warp and weft, these jeans faded right down to white and feature loud contrasting in all the right places. We weren’t given any details on these jeans, so the story of how they came to be is a mystery, but we like to think true fade greatness speaks for itself, and these jeans don’t necessarily need an introduction.
There’s every type of fade imaginable in this pair, starting down at the ankles with some roping. The shin area’s laced with some loose stacking, the distressed and patched knees are covered in whiskers, which is nicely mirrored all the way up in the lap.
And let’s not forget the fading in the seat, which has gone all the way down to the white, and the tightly contrasted honeycombs in the knee. There’s even some super defined fading from where the shoes rubbed up against the denim in the back of the ankles for extra credit.
