Iron Heart Reimagines the N-1 Deck Jacket in 21oz. Selvedge Denim

If USN servicemen wore raw denim deck jackets back in the ’40s, I’m pretty sure every day would be Fade Friday. Most of us denim heads may not be on the frontlines, but we can certainly add the Iron Heart IHM-22 to our daily rotation and see what winter fades we can grind out.

In typical Iron Heart style, the IHM-22 is built from their signature 21oz. Japanese selvedge indigo denim, a denim that’s sanforized but still super crispy. With the colder months in mind, this deck jacket is decked out with a long pile lining of 80% wool and 20% Alpaca, a snug throat-latch closure, and knitted storm cuffs to help preserve that precious body heat. Coming in a regular fit with adjustable cuffs and waist, the IHM-22 also features two handwarmer pockets, a quilted satin lining inside the sleeves, and a double closure that combines a full YKK zipper and a pronounced buttoned placket for added security.

Available at Iron Heart for $675.
