Usually when two great companies team up to form a new collaborative creation, it ends up being pretty sweet. And in the case of the latest between Universal Works and Oi Polloi, it ended up to be really sweet. Don’t call it a shirt, and definitely don’t call it a jacket–it’s the Oi Polloi Bakers Overshirt.
If you follow Universal Works, you’re probably familiar with their popular Bakers Overshirt. It’s a classic go-to wardrobe piece that functions well as an outer layer on chilly days and includes plenty of storage options for when you’re on the go.
For this special collab, they went above and beyond in the fabric sourcing department, ultimately choosing a luxurious 100% cotton corduroy fabric in two handsome neutral earth tones. Each jacket features a single chest pocket and two larger waist pockets, with an added inner pocket for when all those other pockets just aren’t enough. The front placket is closed up with brass snap buttons, and it’s cut in a regular, comfy fit, ready to be thrown over your favorite tee or button down for a true touch of class.
