Cocktpit USA has been making rough ‘n’ ready outerwear for the U.S. Military since 1980, so it comes as no surprise that the Snorkel Parka is built to wage its own war on cold and challenging climates. This tank of a parka is constructed from a 100% cotton ripstop Ventile that’s tough, water resistant, and cold-proof. Not only that, it’s lined with military-grade synthetic down, supplied by insulation experts, Primaloft.
As for construction, the Snorkel Parka is secured with a double closure that combines a full-length zipper and sturdy anchor buttons. The deep-set hood is lined with synthetic fur and features a fully removable, American Coyote fur trim, which, once removed, leaves the parka fully machine washable. Proudly cut and sewn in Cockpit’s New Jersey factory, the Snorkel Parka is finished with two handwarmer pockets and a stash pocket on the sleeve.
