It’s time for Fade of the Day, folks. And instead of dye lost, we’re focusing on patina gained, shining the spotlight on this Il Bussetto Card Holder, submitted to us by Jack Williams from London, England.
Just eight months in Jack’s front pocket was enough to perfectly soften up the Italian vegetable tanned leather on this piece, and it’s showing signs of real patina glory. Jack tells us he only carries two cards, and that is evident in the contrasting tone we can see between the outer and the inner layers.
If what we’ve seen in the past is anything to go by, then Jack can expect the patin to come fast and thick this coming year.
