Double-indigo denim can be a tough nut to crack, but it would seem Andrew Trim from Chicago is well on his way to achieving some demonic fades on his pair of Oni 612IDID. Clocking in at ten months wear, Andrew’s Onis are showing us all the right hallmarks for this extra neppy edition of Fade of the Day.
First off, let’s appreciate those honeycombs that’ve set in behind the knees: crispy, defined and stacked right up, they have some serious potential for fade glory. The denim itself is covered in coarse, neppy texture, which has undoubtedly helped the emphasize the dye loss and general patina of the jean. And as well as some solid pocket fades, Andrew’s jeans have worn to white at the knees, and they look ready to blow.
