Fade of the Day – Alden Indy Kudu (3.5 Years)

"If you're going to make boots out of me, at least condition the leather properly."

Alden Indy Boots were originally designed as a work boot. In fact, they got their namesake because Harrison Ford enjoyed wearing them so much while working as a carpenter and insisted on using them on screen in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Well, Peter Zottolo of San Francisco might be the only local electrician still showing up to the job site in Aldens.

For the past three and half years, he’s brought the power in the kudu leather version and earned lots of patina. A kudu is a horned African antelope and its leather is tough and nappy. If you don’t know what one looks like, we’ve included a photo above, but beware, they are a little judgmental.

Now go do that kudu that you do, Peter.
