Kiriko Sakiori Woven Runners

Indigo on my pants, indigo on my shirts, and indigo… on my floors? If you’ve been unsuccessfully trying to brainstorm some ways to get indigo fabrics decorating the floors of your home, you are majorly in luck.

Kiriko of Portland commissioned local artists to weave Sakiori Runners. Sakiori is a Japanese technique of “rag weaving” and, as Kiriko well knows, it’s a great way of eliminating waste for a brand with small scraps of fabric on hand. This beautiful hodge-podge of different patterns and textiles is entirely unique, so no two pieces will be alike.

In fact, these runners look so cool, you might be tempted to hang them up on the wall instead of walking on them, to best show off your newest indigo houseware!

Complete with dots and buds, these are available from Kiriko for $225.
