Engineered Garments Type 111 Jean Jacket

If there’s one fabric that needs more love, it’s corduroy. Hearing those cries, NYC-based label Engineered Garments got down with the wales for their Type 111 Jean Jacket this season. Constructed from super-soft narrow corduroy that’s been rendered a handsome slate-blue colorway, this thing oozes Spring/Summer cool.

Rather than taking all the hallmarks from the iconic Levi’s Type-III jacket, Engineered Garments opted to draw influences from the Lee 101 Rider jacket as well, with the inclusion of zig-zag stitching down the button placket. Made in the USA, this jacket features two slash pockets on the lower-torso, as well as dual interior pockets and branded stud buttons throughout—including an optional closure at the collar.

Finished with tonal stitching and a branded woven neck label, the Type 111 Jean Jacket is available at Understudy Shop for $373.
