Epaulet’s 9oz. Kuroki Denim Chainstitch Shirt is Primed for Roping

Everyone loves a chainstitch. This beloved stitch not only keeps your clothes from falling apart, it also causes that oh-so special kind of fading: roping.

Though Epaulet‘s Chainstitch Shirt may not use chainstitching everywhere, you should see some tasty roping at the side seams and armholes. The 9oz. denim hails from Kuroki Mills and is entirely ring-spun. This manufacturing technique means that the denim will hold the indigo dye super-well, giving the whole shirt a deeper, more profound hue and in turn, cooler fades. The shirt comes in an “athletic slim fit,” has two patch pockets, and real corozo nut buttons. The mid-length tail means the shirt can be worn tucked or not, which is great if you want to show off the functional gussets and chain-stitch runoff.

Available for $145 from Epaulet.
