Corter Leather is now a regular in our Fade of the Day, and with patina gains like those on this Classic Bifold—submitted to us by James from Missouri—it’s not hard to see why!

James has been using this money wallet for just under two years, and it’s lived in the back pocket of his raw denim jeans that whole time. What makes this piece stand out is the use of harness leather on the exterior and vegetable-tanned on the interior, leading to a double-dose of patina and texture.

The exterior has developed a dark, rugged tone from indigo-transfer, while the card slots and cash compartment inside have aged slower, maintaining more of the bright and creamy tones from the natural vegetable-tanned leather.
