Fade of the Day – Freenote Cloth Rios (2 Years, 10 Washes)

Daniel McLaughlin recently shared his two-year-old Freenote Cloth Rios with us, and after seeing them we thought they were no doubt worth sharing far and wide. So here we are, with today’s entry for our Fade of the Day.

It’s amazing how simple the fade formula is. Just do something in your jeans, pretty much anything, consistently enough and you are sure to get at least some decent fades.

Take Dan’s pair, which has really just endured his usual walks, and cycling to and fro under the Los Angeles sun. In almost no time he’s not only shed a good amount of indigo, which is no small feat with stubborn natural variety of indigo dye; but he’s also set in some great honeycombs, whiskers, and then some come through.

For added flavor he opted to go the route of repairing his tears with work done by the hands at Indigo Proof.
