The results are in, and after nearly a thousand votes, we’re ready to crown Bhisma Diandra’s pair of Iron Heart 634S the 2017 Fade of the Year.
Bhisma wore these 23oz. raw unsanforized jeans for over five years in the heat and humidity of Indonesia. Everything about this jean shows textbook perfect fading–crisp honeycombs, well defined whiskers, and nearly total indigo loss on the thighs and knees. What’s more is they appear to be completely undamaged and in need of no repair despite all the wear, probably a credit to all that washing.
Bhisma wins our fading prize of a $300 gift card from Grant Stone, and custom-made jeans from SoSo Clothing (a $200 total value). And our three randomly selected voting winners are:
