Knickerbocker Says Aloha to Spring with Their Central Shirt

Knickerbocker MFG prepares the way for spring with their Aloha-inspired Central Shirt. And look, we’ve already forewarned y’all, but I’m going to go ahead and give you one last notice:  if you’re considering surfing the Aloha wave, you gotta do it right now, before H&M and Forever21 mens’ sections are stocked to the gills with ’em. That’ll be when your commute to and from work involves a train full of dudes in cheap takes looking at one another with a touch of regret.

That moment is but a season or two away, so if you want to get in on the ground floor, now’s the time and there aren’t many better than the Central Shirt.

With this type of shirt you want to go either super roomy — like your pops would wear in the Bahamas (or my own father does year round) — or super tailored, for a summer look that’s a tad more sophisticated. Knickerbocker ultimately decided on the latter here, and they wisely kept the two most important aspects of any great Aloha shirt:  a spread collar and flat hem bottom. Keeping things classic, they paired those with mother of pearl buttons and a traditional, yet excellent, Hawaiian island motif print.

The best part? It’s presently discounted to $130 at Knickerbocker Mfg. Co.
