PBJ’s XX-019 Jean Goes Dark Mode

Do your jeans even have texture, bro? Oh, they do. Well, what about your black jeans? You don’t even own black jeans?! That’s ok, because Pure Blue Japan has you covered in both departments with their new XX-019-BB’s, so you can fade all the colors all the time.

These bad boys are made up of a slubby, 14oz. 100% cotton double-black selvedge Japanese denim, whichs means that both the warp and weft are rope dyed black prior to weaving, allowing these to preserve the brilliant blue line selvedge while offering the ultimate saturation and subsequent fade potential.

They’re cut in a relaxed tapered fit for just the right amount of form and space to move about comfortably, and are wrapped up with a black dyed deerskin leather patch, black enamel coated steel buttons, and black powder coated copper rivets. And don’t worry, each pair is washed once so your legs don’t look like you just walked out of a coal mine every time you wear them—but no offense if you’re into that sort of thing.
