Standard & Strange and Truman Boot Company Collab Over Some Java

Standard & Strange had some notes for the Boulder, CO-based crew Truman Boot Company. And by the looks of these images, TBC has obliged with an exclusive iteration of their hard-wearing Front Range Boot style.

While the hallmarks of the Front Range Boot remain — heavily waxed flesh leather in a nice java tone, cap toe design, and modified double stitching — the devil is in the details with this exclusive iteration.

A Vibram 430 lug sole replaces the standard Dainite sole, three speed hooks replace the top three eyelets, and a rolled leather ankle in brown chromexcel has been added for a clean finish. In short, this rugged boot has been classed up just enough to sit comfortably in both realms of work and play, while its signature waxed roughout leather goes unchanged, ensuring minimal maintenance and a lifetime of lovely patina to come.

Available for $580 at Standard & Strange.
