It seems as though Studio D’artisan has covered every inch of heritage workwear in its own whacky way, and the WB-4003 Mr. Railroad Double Wabash Jacket reimagines the railroad workwear of early-twentieth century America.
Before you look, there aren’t any pesky jean tearin’ pigs hidden in the print of this jacket. What Studio D’artisan has done is adorn the 100% cotton indigo fabric with double Wabash dotted stripes, a pattern which can only be achieved through a painstakingly slow and precise dyeing process.
Drawing inspiration from the functional elements of original railroad work jackets, the WB-4003 features oversized pockets at the lower torso and sturdy, oversized metal buttons at the placket and cuffs. Each piece is finished with contrasting white stitching throughout, a locker loop at the neck, and a branded woven label on the left chest pocket.
