Sugar Cane Beefs Up Their Sweet Denim for Self Edge

Ask and you shall receive!

People had been begging Kiya Babzani, the owner of Self Edgeto release a pair of jeans made from Sugar Cane‘s famous Okinawa fabric, but in a more modern, slimmed-down cut. The recently-released OKBSP satisfies all the above requests and, just for good measure, they made the denim even heftier.

This unsanforized pair mimics the slim-tapered fit of the Sugar Cane 2014, and even though its denim weighs in at 16.5oz., the legendary Okinawa fabric (a 50/50 sugar cane and cotton blend) comes in a famously loose, breathable weave.

As far as features go, they come armed with all the details you’d expect from Sugar Cane: button-fly, hidden rivets, and a leather patch. But these jeans are exclusive to Self Edge and are sure to disappear pretty quickly due to the Okinawa denim’s cult following and their general wearability.

Act now and pick up these jeans for $285 from Self Edge.
