Benzak Denim Developers x Division Road BDDXDR-711 Heavy Slub Jeans

My large-thighed compatriots, I come bearing good news! We are officially in the Age of the Straight Taper! No longer must we choose between repro cuts and ill-fitting, trendy slim cuts. Finally, we have access to the middle ground.

The BDDXDR-711, a collaboration between Benzak Denim Developers and Division Road Inc. takes cues from those great high-rise fits of the 1950s and 60s, while adding plenty of modern touches, starting with the cut. These jeans may have a spacious seat and top block, but they taper down nicely, giving the wearer a comfortable jeans-wearing experience and a tailored silhouette.

Just as impressive as the cut, however, is the fabric. Collect Mills has ponied up some beautiful 16oz. slubby denim, which is simultaneously rigid, thick and open-weave. So basically, these things will fade well, but will also be easy to wear.

The whole ensemble is rounded out with 10oz. chambray pocket bags and brass hardware. And these are sanforized, so you can pop ’em right on and get to fading. No fuss.

Available exclusively from Division Road Inc. for $305.
