Blluemade Releases Their Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

Working as a graphic designer full-time, my mind is constantly searching for inspiration, both during work and outside of it. These days, it’s easy to get inspired online, but it’s a lot more fun to find that inspiration organically. Interesting logos on the back of old work trucks, typography layouts in a good book, and—you guessed it—color schemes that are done just right are all sure fire ways to get the design juices flowing. Blluemade‘s latest lookbook for their new Spring/Summer 2018 Collection caught my eye instantly, and it’s pretty easy to see why.

Clean lines, a smattering of primary colors, and some brilliant photography all play a part in the success and intrigue of this lookbook. The clothes themselves are showcased in a perfect way, and will certainly help bring a little liveliness to your wardrobe wherever it is lacking. Right off the bat, one of the coolest parts about this drop is the refined silhouettes, able to be worn by both men and women seamlessly (no pun intended).

Also, one other thing. LINEN. Spring and summer are usually known for being on the warm side, and linen is the perfect material to keep you clothed in comfort. Some notable linen pieces in this drop include an unstructured ball cap, pleated indigo shorts, and a bright yellow pair of coveralls. Who wants to go to the beach?
