Fade of the Day – Flint and Tinder Cone Indigo Memphis 1968 (6 Months, 6 Soaks)

It’s Fade Of The Day time! Today’s edition takes note of a brand we don’t often see in our inbox, Flint & Tinder. No, it’s not a dating app for a Michigan city in dire need of much more than just TLC, it’s a denim company—and by the looks of Tuan Dang’s pair they make some pretty nice stuff.

Tuan’s pair is interesting as he only wears his jeans during the winter months in Vietnam, and only while doing daily work “at the site” (hmm, mysterious Tuan, mysterious indeed). In just six months of winter wear, the pair is looking super solid, which leads us to wonder if the strict winter wear is holding this pair back from even greater fade glory. After all, the heat and humidity in that part of the world are notorious for great fades.

On the flip side, slowing the process down and stretching it out leads to a longer evolution and thus more time to enjoy them, which Tuan clearly has. Please follow up in another six months Tuan!
