Welcome back for another Fade Friday! This week we’re bringing you some South Korean jeans made with Japanese denim, which have evolved a lot in a short 15 month span.
These MOD9 Soul Indigo’s come to us from Vacanos, in South Korea, who is a designer for the brand. Vacanos tells us that he sprayed some Korean distilled spirits on the crotch and the rear and let it dry, which he says would help keep blow outs to a minimum while not washing his jeans for the first year. Incidentally, no blow outs have occurred despite exclusive daily wear (tip noted).
This pair has a great vintage look to it, as well. The wide and defined whiskering is overlaid by tinges of dirt, creating some great Wild West-looking dusty fades, and the stacks in the ankles stretch upwards into the calf area and are well defined.
