Fade of the Day – Denim.lab Mini.lab Slim Nova 200 Dry (6 Months, 2 Washes, Unknown Washes)

Sander, over at denim.lab, sent in these pics of a pair of jeans returned to him by a customer for inclusion in his denim archive. And the best part is that they weren’t even the customer’s jeans, but those of his customer’s kid! Sanders loves the jeans and thought we would too, and he was right—so we have made them our Fade of the Day.

If a dog year is equal to seven human years, then by the look of these jeans, a single kid month in a pair of raw denim is equal to three or more adult months. The key, clearly, is that kids have a non-stop motor (excellent for fades) while us adults have a mainly sedentary lifestyle (bad for fades).

And by the look of these jeans, that kid has had a blast! Can you imagine all the running around, sliding in the lawn, and crawling about it took to develop this impressive array of high-contrast fades and denim destruction in only six months? Sounds like a life lived well if you ask us.
