First timer alert! That’s right, we’ve never featured a pair of Eight-G’s as the Fade Of The Day, until now.

Singapore resident Sim Shen Lok has owned this pair for a year and two months, and while the pair looks good for that time span, that sentiment quickly changes to a resounding “fantastic!” when you come to realize he’s only worn them on Saturdays and Sundays. So, if we just count the weekends he’s really worn his Lot 883 XX’s for about four months, and in that time he’s lost some indigo, set in his creases, and we are seeing the start of what will ultimately become some serious, serious fades.

My favorite aspect of these jeans is just how rough and slubby the denim is, and that texture is starting to come through as the indigo bleeds away. This is a pair we’d like to see after another couple years of weekend wear.
